Plastic waste

Waste agricultural plastic.

Silage baler film, silage baler netting, binder film, sheeting, underlay film and baler twine are agricultural plastics that must be recycled after use.

How to do it?

  1. Through the portal silokile.ee Here you can find all the instructions on how to return your agricultural plastic waste. We recommend that you specify the price and conditions of transport before placing an order.
  2. Take your own agricultural plastic to a waste manager. To do this, send an e-mail to andro@slipest.ee and SLIPEST OÜ will direct you to the nearest waste management company. SLIPEST OÜ will reimburse the transport costs from the county border to the waste handler and back.
  3. Order the transport of agricultural plastic waste from SLIPEST OÜ. To do this, again send a letter to andro@slipest.ee and SLIPEST OÜ's partners will come to you and take the waste away. There is a charge for this service.

We would also like to remind you that agricultural waste must be sorted by type and kept clean. Waste must not contain foreign matter such as silage, soil, sand, household and industrial waste. Tyres, stones, concrete, etc. are also excluded. Any extraneous matter included will be charged separately and will be subject to a fee based on the mixed waste price list.

A maximum of two years' quantities (kg) will be accepted free of charge, subject to prior confirmation to the waste manager by the silage film supplier. The surplus shall be reimbursed by the owner of the waste.

Recommendations for waste collection.

  1. Collect waste separately immediately. Subsequent sorting is very labour intensive.
  2. Collect waste under shade. Water inside the waste adds weight to the waste even up to 50% and must be paid for.
  3. In the case of larger quantities of waste, we recommend compacting the waste on the spot, but separately. The transport of compacted waste is free of charge. We can also help you with the purchase or rental of a compactor.
